Storing dry foods should at least be six inches or
15 centimeters off the floor and no less than 18 inches away from exterior
walls to decrease the likelihoods of condensation transported on by temperature
alterations between the vessel and the surface touching which it rests, other
than to ease scrubbing and pest control actions.
