Answer;

The best explanation to the above question would be;

-Sustained physical activity allows the body to work its muscles while providing oxygen to the muscle groups. This activity develops the muscle groups in addition to the cardiovascular and respiratory systems that deliver oxygen to the muscles via blood circulation.

-Sustained physical activity exercises all these systems in concert and improves cardio-respiratory fitness levels.

-Additionally; exercise such as running, cycling and walking uses energy, and when energy expenditure exceeds energy intake, the difference is made up by burning fat. Thus, improving one's cardio respiratory fitness and muscular strength and endurance can help improve one's body composition by changing the ratio of body tissue to fat.

The greatest benefits to cardiorespiratory fitness come from sustained physical activities like running, walking and cycling. This statement is true.

Further explanation:

The cardiorespiratory fitness is an ability of the cardiovascular system (lungs, vessels, and heart) to proficiently provide oxygenated blood to functioning muscles and the muscle which use oxygen. Aerobic exercise is a significant part of any fitness program. Aerobic exercise programs increase the consumption of oxygen and heart rate.

Activities such as cycling, jogging, walking, running, swimming, aerobics, hiking, stair climbing, cross country skiing, rowing and dancing increase cardiovascular fitness. Walking, cycling and running are aerobic activities. They help in increasing the consumption of oxygen to the muscles and also increase the heart rate. Sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, and squash also improve cardiovascular fitness.

Athletes mainly use three exercise methods to get better their cardiovascular fitness:

 • Moderate to high-intensity interval training.
 • Slow to moderate-intensity distance training.
 • High-intensity continuous exercise.

How are reaction times involved in maintain homeostasis for the body?
BaLLatris [955]

Explanation:

Homeostasis refers to the internal body system that helps to regulate our internal body environment, such as our temperature, blood pressure, etc.

By means of internal sensors which monitor when there is a change in our normal body condition, these reaction times occur for example:

 • when we are triggered by our body to go and dehydrate (urinate) in the restroom,
 • or maybe when we begin to sweat heavily after performing physical activity, those tiny droplets of sweat helps cool our body down.

All these automatic responses help us maintain homeostasis in our body.
