Whoever can answer all of these will get brainless
inn [45]

Firstly, brainly allows 1 question per question. So do not try this again.

Lets make the fractions all like terms.

242/4 - 37/4=205/4. Lets now make this a mixed fraction.
By doing 205/4, we find out that 4 goes in less than 51 times.

1. 51  1/4.

2. 11/2 = 66/12.....so 66/12 - 29/12= 37/12. Make it mixed fraction: 3 1/12.

3. 36/5=72/10.      72/10 - 37/10 = 35/10. As a mixed it is 3 1/2

4. 35/3 - 17/2 can be rewritten by finding their GCM (Greatest Common Multiple). In this case it is 6.

70/6 - 51/6 = 19/6. 3 1/6.

How do you model a decimal using a fraction
stiks02 [169]
Okie dokie,
When converting a decimal, you use the place the decimal is in...
Let's review the places: tenths, hundredths, thousandths, etc.
You look at the last number to determine what place you're using!
-------------------
Now here's an example for the tenths place:
.5
it's in the tenths place, right? so put it over that number (with no decimal) over a 10.
(mobile) 5/10 or \frac{5}{10}
Now, decide if you can simplify. You can! 5/10 simplifies down to 1/2.
\frac{1}{2} is your answer!
--------
Example for the hundredths place:
.26
the last number is in the hundredths place, so put the number (without a decimal) over 100!
26/100 or \frac{26}{100}
You can simplify this!
13/50 is your answer!

Calculators can also come in handy!
Good luck!

Verifying Properties of logarithms In Exercise,use a graphing utility to verify that the functions are equivalent for x > 0.
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

Applying Quotient and power rule. Graphically, for x>0 both curves coincide.

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Firstly, by applying the Quotient and then the Power Rule, we have a subtraction of the argument and, finally the exponent turns to be the coefficient. As it follows:

lnx=log_{e}x\\\\f(x) = ln({\frac{x^{2}}{4}})\Rightarrow f(x)=ln{x^2}-ln4\Rightarrow f(x)=2lnx-ln4\\g(x) = 2 ln x - ln 4

2) Check the graph below to see this equivalence. to see x>0 they  both coincide.
