Oral developmental stage as defined by Freud, is the stage where infants are just concerned with what comes to their mouth. During the oral phase the mouth is where the infant gains joy, as they make contact with their mother's breast, and also insert toys, books, pen, and any other thing they can see into their mouth. The oral stage activities begins to go into extinction when the child has spent about 15 to 18months of their existence on earth. At this stage, the children would need lots of control measures due to this activities.
