Answer: 54cm(squared)

Each side has surface area 3cmx3cm=9cm(squared). And there are 6 sides of a cube so it has total surface area of 9cm(squared)x6=54cm(squared)

Hope that makes sense! If you'd like any more help with maths, I'd be happy to offer online tuition. You can find me at: www.birchwoodtutors.com

Richard Saltwood’s car averages 620 miles on its 20-gallon tank of gas. If Richard runs out of gas and a mechanic comes to his r
grandymaker [24]
Well first you have to divide 620/20 which is 31. So his car goes 31 miles per gallon so you have 2 gallons and .25 of a gallon. So first off 2*31=62 miles then the 1/4 or .25. Multiply the 31 by .25 which is 7.75 now add 62 and 7.75 and you get how far his car can go.

62+7.75=69.75 miles

Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

Since we have a 30° - 60° - 90° triangle, we can calculate any side by knowing at least one out of three:

Since the length of the hypotenuse is twice as long as the shorter leg, we have:

The length of the short leg is: 25/2 = 12.5

Since the length of the longer leg is equal to the length of the shorter leg

multiply by square root of 3 we have:

The length of the longer leg is: 12.5 × √3 ≈21.65

=> The perimeter of the triangle is: 25 + 12.5 + 21.65 = 59.15
