The question is incomplete. The complete question is as follows.

Consider the reduction of the rectangle. A large rectangle has a length of 16.8 feet and width of 2.3 feet. A smaller rectangle has a length of 4.5 feet and width of x feet. Not drawn to scale (The drawing is in the attachment). Rounded to the nearest tenth.

What is the value of x?

A. 0.1 feet

B. 0.6 feet

C. 1.6 feet

D. 2.0 feet

Answer: B. 0.6 feet

Step-by-step explanation: Two quantity are proportional if the ratio of them is constant. From the drawing and the question, we have that the two rectangles are proportional between them.

\frac{x}{2.3} = \frac{4.5}{16.8}

x = \frac{4.5*2.3}{16.8}

x = \frac{10.35}{16.8}

x = 0.6

The width of the smaller rectangle is <u>0.6 feet</u>.

A persons weekly wage is worked out by using the formula
LuckyWell [14K]
The formula is : #of overtime hours(h) *£16 + basic pay (b)
So, the easier way to put it is W=h*16+b

A: Wage= £284

A. W=h(9)*16+b(140)
=9*16+140
=144+140
=284

B: Overtime = 11
So, with this one, we work backwards
Using the same formula

W=h*16+b
We can fill in
300=16h+124

First, subtract 124 on both sides leaving

176=16h
Now we divide 16 on both sides, canceling out the right side
Leaving
11=h

max is a function that accepts two int parameters and returns the value of the larger one. Two int variables, population1 and po
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

Value=max(populatio1,population2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming that two int variables, population1 and population2, have already been declared and initialized, we car write the next function:

max(population1,population2)

  if population1 => population2

     then var=population1

     else var=population2

  endif

  return var

This function decides between two values population1 and population 2 and return the value of the larger one.

Note that we can have the option where population1 and population 2 are equal and doesn´t matter if we choose population1 or population2

Use the graph to fill in the blank with the correct number.<br> f(0)= ____
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

f(0) = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

To find f(0), we must find the y-value for when x is equal to 0. This means that we need to find 'y' in (0,y).

Notice how the graph includes the point (0,1). The y-value is 1, so therefore, f(0) = 1.

I hope this helps!
