The final temperature of the Argon gas is 313.5 K.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Using the ideal gas equation, we can find the final temperature of the Argon gas.

$\frac{P1V1}{T1} = \frac{P2V2}{T2}

Now we have to rearrange the equation to get T2 as,

$ T2 = \frac{P2V2T1}{P1V1}\\

P1 = Initial pressure = 720 mm Hg = 1 atm

P2 = Final Pressure = 360 mm Hg  = 0.5 atm

V1 = initial volume = 1 L

V2 = Final Volume = 2.14 L

T1 = Initial Temperature = 293 K

T2 = Final Temperature = ?

Now we have to plugin the values as,

T2 = $\frac{0.5 atm \times 2.14 L \times 293 K}{1 atm \times1 L}

    = 313.5 K

So the final temperature of the Argon gas is 313.5 K.

The equilibrium constant of a reaction: A) is not related to the change in free energy of the reaction. B) is the same as the ma
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:) is related to the change in free energy of the reaction--d

Explanation:

For any reaction that is taking place at any moment the change in Gibbs Free Energy is related to the reaction quotient as

 ΔG=ΔG⁰+RTlnQ

where R-Universal Gas Constant, T- Temperature in Kelvin, Q is the reaction quotient

Now when the system is in equilibrum,    ΔG⁰ which is the standard Gibb's Free Energy,is then  defined as

ΔG⁰=−RTlnK ,

where K is the equilibrium constant. because  ΔG becomes 0 and reaction quotient Q = K

The equilibrum constant   is related to the change in free energy of the reaction.

because when  ΔG is negative, the value of K is high which leads to a spontaneous. reaction

when   ΔG is positive, the value of K is low, which leads to a spontaneous. reaction in the opposite direction.

Which ion does an acid contain most off
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

Hydrogen +

Explanation:

An acid is a chemical which "wants" to donate some protons, or hydrogen + ions. Since a hydrogen atom is just a proton and an electron, the ion lacking an electron is simply a proton. Hope this helps!
