The correct answer for the given question above would be option C. Since deforestation is killing organisms that produce oxygen, which are the plants and trees, the only oxygen-producing organisms that would remain if all the forest were destroyed are the planktons. The planktons produce oxygen, especially in the ocean. The oxygen is the byproduct of the process of photosynthesis of these planktons.

PRETEST:
nignag [31]

Answer:

The correct option is D) oxygen

Explanation:

The splitting of the water molecules during the light-dependent reactions results in the production of 2 electrons, two hydrogen ions and the formation of oxygen gas. The electrons released by this process make ATP by a process which is known as chemiosmosis. The hydrogen ions released during the light-dependent reactions are converted into NADPH during the light-independent reactions. Oxygen is the by-product and is released into the air. The oxygen is used up by other organisms of the earth for cellular respiration.

Can someone help me and explain please
Aleks [24]
The more air is in the jar, the longer the candle will be able to burn. So the candle in jar 3 probably burned for 4 minutes.
The candle in jar 4 would be able to burn much longer then the others, because it has no lid so air can come through and keep the candle burning.
