Hello there,
11/22 = 33/?
As you can see, if you multiply 3 with 11 you get 33.
So you have to multiply the denominator and numerator with the same number which is 3 in this case.
So 12 x 3 is equals to 36.
Hope this helps :))

4. Find the value of n that makes this equation true. (Use
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

n=4

Step-by-step explanation:

We start off with 3.2n + 13.3 = 26.1.

We need to get n by itself.

Subtract 13.3 from both sides.

3.2n+13.3-13.3=26.1-13.3

26.1-13.3=12.8

We end up with: 3.2n=12.8

Divide 3.2 on both sides to get n by itself.

\frac{3.2n}{3.2} =\frac{12.8}{3.2}\\ n=4

VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

Emily: 13, Peter: 9, Joshua: 18

Step-by-step explanation:

Emily = x

Peter = Emily - 4 = x - 4

Joshua = 2(Peter) = 2(x - 4)

Total = 40 = Emily + Peter + Joshua = (x) + (x - 4) + 2(x - 4)

40 = 2x - 4 + 2x -8

40 = 4x - 4 - 8

40 = 4x - 12

52 = 4x

x = 13

Emily = 13

Peter = 13 - 4 = 9

Joshua = 2(13 - 4) = 2(9) = 18

13 + 9 +18 = 40
