Answer: No , it is not reasonable as the total amount is sum upto $34 but in register the amount of bill is shown is greater than the original bill amount.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

The prices  rounded off to the nearest dollar were as follows:

$1.85  → $2

$8.56  → $9

$6.30  → $6

$2.73  → $3

$5.25  → $5

$4.09  → $4

$7.95  → $8

– $0.85 (coupon)  → $1

– $2.10 (coupon) →  $2

So, total amount will be

2+9+6+3+5+4+8-1-2=\$34

But the value in the register gives total bill as $41.44

So, it is not reasonable as the total amount is sum upto $34 but in register the amount of bill is shown is greater than the original bill amount.

In point-slope form, the equation of the line is
.. y -k = m(x -h) . . . . . . for slope m and point (h, k)

You have m = -7/2 and (h, k) = (8, -28), so the point-slope equation is
.. y -(-28) = (-7/2)*(x -8)
.. y +28 = (-7/2)x +28 . . . . simplify
.. y = (-7/2)x . . . . . . . . . . . . subtract 28
To put this into standard form, we can multiply by 2, then add 7x.
.. 2y = -7x
.. 7x +2y = 0 . . . . . . . . . . . the standard form equation you want
