R=ρ\frac{L}{A}

Where, R is resistance

ρ is resistivity,

L is length and

A is cross sectional area

Given, L= 3.5m

A=5.26 x 10⁻⁶ m²

ρ=1.68×10⁻⁸ ohms m

∴ R= \frac{(1.68)(3.5)}{5.26*100}

⇒ R=1.11×10⁻² ohms

Power in a wire where current is flowing can be calculated from the product of the square of the current and the resistance. Resistance is equal to the product of resistivity and length divided by the area of the wire. We do as follows:

Resistance  =  2.44 × 10-8 ( 0.11) / (π)(0.0009)^2 = 1.055x10^-3 <span>Ω

P = I^2R = .170^2 (</span>1.055x10^-3 ) = 3.048x10^-5 W

stira [4]

Answer:

4.81*10^{29}J

Explanation:

Since the formula for kinetic energy of an object is:

E_k = \frac{mv^2}{2}

Where m is the mass of the object and v is the speed. We can substitute m = 3*10^{21}kg and v = 17900m/s:

E_k = \frac{3*10^{21} * (17900)^2}{2} = 4.81*10^{29}J

A certain lightning bolt moves 50.0 C of charge. How many units of fundamental charge is this?
liubo4ka [24]
Answer: There are number of electrons.
Explanation:
We are given 50 Coulombs of charge and we need to find the number of electrons that can hold this much amount of charge. So, to calculate that we will use the equation:

where,
n = number of electrons
Charge of one electron =
Q = Total charge = 50 C.
Putting values in above equation, we get:

Hence, there are number of electrons.
