R=ρ\frac{L}{A}

Where, R is resistance

ρ is resistivity,

L is length and

A is cross sectional area

Given, L= 3.5m

A=5.26 x 10⁻⁶ m²

ρ=1.68×10⁻⁸ ohms m

∴ R= \frac{(1.68)(3.5)}{5.26*100}

⇒ R=1.11×10⁻² ohms

You are standing 10 meters from a light source. then, you back away from the light source until you are 20 meters away from it.
-Dominant- [34]
Intensity of wave is defined as the work per unit area and it is calculated through the equation,
                                   I = P / A

If a person moved farther from the light source, the area covered by the light. With the equation, A is a inversely proportional to light. If the distance is to cover half of the team. The answer therefore, the intensity of the wave is lessened.

Jim strikes a 0.058 kg golf ball with a force of 272 N, giving it a velocity of 62.0 m/s. How long was the ball in contact with
Mekhanik [1.2K]

Answer: 0.013 seconds

Explanation:

Given that

Mass of golf ball = 0.058 kg

Force = 272 N

Velocity = 62.0 m/s

Time taken = ?

Recall that force is the rate of change of momentum per unit time

i.e Force = Change in momentum / Time

i.e Force = (Mass x velocity) / Time

272N = (0.058 kg x 62.0 m/s) / Time

272N = 3.6kgm/s / Time

Time = (3.6kgm/s / 272N)

Time = 0.013 seconds

Thus, the ball was in contact with the club for 0.013 seconds

It takes 20s for 3x10^6 electrons to flow through a wire ,what is the current?
Elina [12.6K]

Answer:

Explanation:

The variables we know and are given are:

time, t = 20s

Charge, Q = 3x1-^-6 electrons, which is just 3x10^-6C (C stands for Coulombs, which is the unit for Charge)

We need to find the current, I, and since we know Q and t we can substitute these values into the given equation:

I=Q/t (which if you look at what the RHS is saying, its Charge over time, or more literally means the amount of charge passing a point over a period of time)

If we substitute these values, we will get I as:

I = Q / t

I = 3x10^-6 / 20

I = 1.5x10^-7 A

Hope this helps!
