Piloting X-wings is dangerous. An overly sharp turn can kill a pilot due to the intense acceleration that their body can be subj

ect to. While flying to the mysterious planet Exegol, Rey had to navigate a treacherous route through space. Some of her turns were very tight, with radius of curvature as little as 1.4 km. What is the maximum speed Rey could safely attain while keeping acceleration on her body below 6 g's? (recall that the letter 'g' here stands for the Earth's surface gravity g=9.8 m/s^2

Answer:

The maximum velocity is   v= 287 m/s

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The radius of curvature is  r = 1.4 \ km

    The acceleration of  the body is  a = 6 g =  6 * 9.8 = 58.8 \ m/s^2

Generally the centripetal acceleration  of this body is mathematically represented as

                   a_c = \frac{v^2}{r}

and from the question we are told that    a_c \le (6g = 58.8 m/s^2)

Which implies that

                      58.8 = \frac{v^2}{r}

Substituting values

                      58.8 = \frac{v^2}{1400}

=>                   v= \sqrt{58.8 * 1400}

                      v= 287 m/s

Answer:

the maximum speed Rey could safely attain while keeping acceleration on her body below 6 g's is 91.65  m/s

Explanation:

Using  the approach of Centripetal acceleration:

a=\frac{ V^2}{R}

Given that:

acceleration on her body below 6 g

(i.e a < 6g)

6 = \frac{V^2}{R}

where;

R = radius of curvature = 1.4 km = 1400 m

V^2 = 6*1400

V^2 = 8400

V = \sqrt{8400}

V = 91.65  m/s

Thus; the maximum speed Rey could safely attain while keeping acceleration on her body below 6 g's is 91.65  m/s

A positive charge of 6.0 × 10-4 C is in an electric field that exerts a force of 4.5 × 10-4 N on it. What is the strength of the
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

0.75 NC⁻¹

Explanation:

Electric field intensity ( or strength of the electric field ) is the force per a 1 C charge,

So, Force (F) = Electric field intensity(E) × Charge (q)

                 F = E×q ⇒ q = F/E

                                      = 4.5×10⁻⁴/6×10⁻⁴ = 0.75 NC⁻¹

According to cool om's law electric fields are generated due to charges. When charges are same there is a repulsive force acted on both charges. When charges are opposite there is a attraction force acted  on both charges.

According to cool om's law,

F =G×q1×q2 / r²

F = force exerted of two charges

q1 , q2 = charges

r = distance between two charges

And also Electric field intensity is a vector which has a magnitude and direction both. Direction is depending on a charge and the sign of the charge

The position of an object that is oscillating on a spring is given by the equation x = (17.4 cm) cos[(5.46 s-1)t]. what is the a
bulgar [2K]

The angular frequency of this motion is 5.46 rad/s.

The oscillation of spring is an example of Simple Harmonic Motion(SHM).

The general equation of an SHM is given by the formula.

X = Acos(wt)

Here A is the amplitude

ω is the angular frequency

T is the time

Comparing the above equation with the given condition,

X = 17.4 cm cos(5.46t)

A = 17.4 cm

ω = 5.46 rad/s

T = 1 s

Hence, the angular frequency of this motion is 5.46 rad/s.

3) A tolley of mass 4kg, moving with a velocity
Leokris [45]

Answer:

3.57 m/s

Explanation:

The sum of the 2 momentums Is equal the finale momentums. so if momentums Is q, v Is velocity and m Is Mass, q3=m1*v1+m2**v2=16+9=25 m*kg/s

q3=m3*v3

v3=q3/m3=25/(4+3)=3.57m/s
