<h2>Hello!</h2>

The answer is:

(3xy-1)(4xy+2)=12(xy)^{2}+2xy-2

or

(3xy-1)(4xy+2)=12x^{2}y^{2}+2xy-2

<h2>Why?</h2>

To solve the problem and identify the resultant expression, we need to apply the distributive property, and the, add or subtract like terms.

Describing the distributive property:

(a+b)(c+d)=a*c+a*d+b*c+b*d

Remember, like terms are the terms that share the same variable and same exponent, for example:

a^{2} +3a^{2}+a^{3}=4a^{2}+a^{3}

We were able to add only the terms that have the same exponent (2).

We are given the expression:

(3xy-1)(4xy+2)

Now, solving we have:

(3xy-1)(4xy+2)=(3xy*4xy)+(3xy*2)-(1*4xy)-2\\\\(3xy*4xy)+(3xy*2)-(1*4xy)-2=12(xy)^{2}+6xy-4xy-2\\\\12(xy)^{2}+6xy-4xy-2=12(xy)^{2}+2xy-2

Hence, we have that:

(3xy-1)(4xy+2)=12(xy)^{2}+2xy-2

or

(3xy-1)(4xy+2)=12x^{2}y^{2}+2xy-2

Have a nice day!

The side of one square is equal to 3m and its diagonal is equal to the side of a second square. Find the diagonal of the second
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

6m

Step-by-step explanation:

the side of first square = 3 m

area of first square = 3^2= 9 m^2

let the side of second square = x m

since diagonal of first square = x m as per the question

in a square each angle is 90 degree

therefore by applying pythagorus theorem ,

diagonal ^2 = side^2 + side ^2

diagonal^2 = 3^2+3^2=9+9

DIAGONAL= square root of 18

diagonal= 3\sqrt{2} m = side of second square

therefore in second square ,

one angle is 90  degree , therefore by applying pythagorue theorem

diaqonal^2 = side ^2 + side ^2 = (3\sqrt{2})^2 + ( 3\sqrt{2})^2

diagonal ^2 = 18 + 18

diagonal = square root of 36

therefore diagonal of second square is 6m

Volume of the cone:

V = 3.14 x 3^2 x 9/3 = 84.78

Volume of half sphere on top of cone:

V = (4/3 x 3.14 x 3^3 )/2 = 56.52

Total volume = 56.52 + 84.78 = 141.3 cm^3

300 T(w) = 530 - w
Semmy [17]

T(110) is used to calculate the value of T when w = 110.

<h3>Linear equation</h3>

A linear equation is in the form:

y = mx + b

where y, x are variables, m is the rate of change (slope) and b is the y intercept.

Given the linear equation:

T(w) = 530 - w

Hence T(110) is used to calculate the value of T when w = 110.
