In this study, we tested the effects of NEAA-deprived diets and checkpoint inhibitor anti-PD-1 and anti-PD-L1 in colon cancer using syngeneic mouse model (Balb/c) bearing tumors of mouse colorectal cancer cell line CT-26. Three diets were tested, including a natural rodent diet Teklad ENVIGO Global 16% Protein Rodent Diet (control 1), a formulated NEAA-complete diet COMPLETE (control 2, using amino acid mix in place of protein), and a formulated NEAA-deprived diet FTN203 (treatment, using amino acid mix in place of protein). Both COMPLETE and FTN203 have the same nutritional structures, contain 17% w/w protein equivalent, and are isocaloric. After tumor size-based randomization, these diets were provided to mice ad libitum throughout the whole test. Each of these diets was used alone or combined with anti-PD-1 antibody (i.p., twice per week for 2 weeks) or anti-PD-L1 antibody (i.v., twice per week for 2 weeks). In this study, we tested the effects of NEAA-deprived diets and checkpoint inhibitor anti-PD-1 and anti-PD-L1 in colon cancer using syngeneic mouse model (Balb/c) bearing tumors of mouse colorectal cancer cell line CT-26. How many times greater is 9 x 10^12 than 3 x 10^6
Harrizon [31]

Answer: 3 x 10^6

This is the number 3,000,000 aka 3 million

=======================================================

To find this answer, we divide the two values (large/small)

(9 x 10^12)/(3 x 10^6)

(9/3) x 10^(12-6)

3 x 10^6

We divided the stuff out front like normal (9/3 turns into 3) and we subtract the exponents when dividing the 10^12 over 10^6. The general rule is that

(a^b)/(a^c) = a^(b-c)

The result 3 x 10^6 is in scientific notation. It represents the number 3,000,000 aka 3 million. While 9 x 10^12 represents 9,000,000,000,000 which is the number 9 trillion.

I’m really confused can somebody like explain the steps
klio [65]

Answer:

58 yards^2

Step-by-step explanation:

You want to break this irregular shape into simple shapes. You can make a rectangle with the sides of 4 and 6 yards, whose are is 24 yards^2.

Then you can do the rectangle on the opposite side, whose sides are 4 and 6 yards, whose are is 24 yards^2 again.

Then the final rectangle has the sides of 5 and 2 yards, whose area is 10 yards^2.

If you add it all up, you will get 58 yards^2.

A bag has 6 red rocks, 1 orange rock, 4 blue rocks, 1 white rock, and 7 yellow rocks. You randomly pull a rock from the bag, kee
8090 [49]

Answer: 17/19

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of red rocks = 6

Number of orange rock = 1

Number of blue rocks = 4

Number of white rock = 1

Number of yellow rocks = 7

Total number of rocks = 19

Probability of not getting a orange the first time will be (1 - 1/19) = 18/19.

Probability of not getting an orange the second time will be: (1 - 1/18) = 17/18

Probability of not getting an orange on both occasion will be:

= 18/19 × 17/18

= 17/19
