A.Deena did +25 instead of - 25, since 88 is the bill and 9x was the original cost, minus the discount of 25.
B. 9X-25= 88
C." I bought some shirts at the store for $9 each and had to pay $25 worth of taxes. My total bill was $88. "
Reason for C, because taxes would be an addition to the to the price of the 9 pants, and that is what is shown.

Answer:

A.) Denna consider wrong the discount. She added it instead of resting it

B.) 9x - 25 = 88

C.) I bought some shirts at the store for $9 each, to get that price , I must be a member of the club , the membership is one pay of 25. My total bill was $88

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the total bill we have to multiple the quantity of shirts (x) by the price minus the discount she get.

So, in the equation Denna consider wrong the discount, She added it instead of resting it . It should be

9x - 25 = 88

Where

Price =$9

x= quantity of shirts

discount = $25

Total bill= $88

To re-write the situation we have to consider another payment, It could be a membership to a club.

Which of the following pairs of points are both solutions to the equation 2x-5y=6 ? and and and and
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

Any points on the line y=2/5 x - 6/5. See picture below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Convert the equation to slope intercept form and graph it.

2x - 5y = 6

-5y = 6 - 2x

y = -2/-5 x + 6/-5

y=2/5 x - 6/5.

Locate each of the points listed on the graph. If they are a part of the line, then they are solutions.

What is 778,400,000 in scientific notation?
FinnZ [79.3K]

When working with very large or very small numbers, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers use scientific notation to express these quantities. Scientific notation is a mathematical abbreviation, based on the idea that it is easier to read an exponent than to count many zeros in a number. Very large or very small numbers need less space when written in scientific notation because the position values are expressed as powers of 10. Calculations with long numbers are easier to do when using scientific notation
