Answer:

A=14s+s^2

A=41.25\ in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

-Let s be the base lengths and h be the slant heights of the trinagles.

-Surface area of the pyramid is the sum of the areas of all of it's face and can be given as:

Area=Area \ of \ Triangles +Base \ Area\\\\=4(\frac{1}{2}sh)+s^2\\\\=2sh+s^2\\\\=s(2h+s)

h=7\\\\\therefore A=s(2h+s)\\\\=s(2\times 7+s)\\\\=s(14+s)\\\\=14s+s^2

#We substitute the length and height dimensions in our simplified formula to calculate the Surface area as:

A=s(2h+s)\\\\=2.5(2\times 7+2.5)\\\\=41.25\ in^2

Hence, the pyramid's surface area is 41.25\ in^2

What is angle A equal? <br><br> Thanks :)
Alex Ar [27]
Angle A and angle B sums up to 180 (interior angles)

6x - 35 + 3x + 53 = 180
9x + 18 = 180
9x = 162
x = 18

angle A = 6(18)-35 = 73 degrees

bonufazy [111]

The day of the month that was 75% of the pond algae-free is: on day 28 or third day.

<h3>75% of the pond algae-free</h3>

Since we were told the algae  doubled every day until it was  covered in algae on day 30 of the month.

Hence:

Day 30 (First day)= It was 100% covered.

Day 29 (Second day)=It was 50% covered.

Day 28 (Third day )=it was 25% covered, which will be the same as 75% pond algae-free.

Therefore the day of the month that was 75% of the pond algae-free is: on day 28 or third day.

The functions f(x) = –(x − 1)2 + 5 and g(x) = (x + 2)2 − 3 have been rewritten using the completing-the-square method. Is the ve
Romashka [77]
The vertex is a maximum for f(x) and a minimum for g(x).  This is because the squared term is never negative.

Because the larger the squared term is, the smaller f(x) is, f(x) is at MOST 5.  Similarly, because the larger the squared term is, the larger g(x) is, g(x) is at MOST -3.
