Answer:

813 = 800 + 10 + 3 = (8 \times 10^{2} ) + ( 1\times 10^1 ) + ( 3 \times 10^0 )

Step-by-step explanation:

i) 813 = 800 + 10 + 3 = (8 \times 10^{2} ) + ( 1\times 10^1 ) + ( 3 \times 10^0 )

Plz plz help me on number 6 plz plz help
tigry1 [53]
The answer would actually be A because if you make 3 1/4 a mixed number you would get 13/4 which equals 3.25. Now divide 3.25 by 4 because you will dividing these pizzas to 4 people. This gives me 0.8125. Then I would multiply 1/4 to 3.3125 which gives me 0.203125 and when you make this to an improper fraction it will come out to be 13/64 which is choice A. I hope this helps you! I am also sorry for what happened yesterday.

What are the two solutions of 2x^2 = -X^2 - 5x - 1?
Sidana [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve 2x^2 = -X^2 - 5x - 1.  Consolidate all terms on the left side and write 0 on the right side:

3x^2 + 5x + 1 = 0.  This is a quadratic equation.  Let's solve it for x using the quadratic formula:

a = 3, b = 5, c = 1, and so the discriminant is b^2 - 4ac = 5^2 - 4(3)(1) = 13.  Because the discriminant is positive, we know that there are two distinct, real roots; the graphs of y = 2x^2 and y = x^2 - 5x - 1 intersect in two places whose x-coordinates are the real roots mentioned above.

Answer A is not correct as stated, but would be correct if we were to replace "the y-coordinates" with "the x-coordinates."

Answer C would be correct if and only if we write y = x^2 - 5x - 1.

Answer:

y=5x+25

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the y intercept for the scatterplot is 25, that means that the only equation that matches the graph is y=5x+25

y=5(0)+25

y=0+25

y=25
