Mesopotamia, the territory of the ancient empire on the land of today's Iran, Iraq, etc., in Asia is east of Egypt and North Africa.

The Sumerians that are the oldest known civilization on the Mesopotamian territory are also east of Egypt.

From all of the above, it can be concluded that Greece is west of Mesopotamia, that is west of Asia in general.
