Kiley would need glass of area between 3.14 and 12.56 square feet

Step-by-step explanation:

The Circumference of the circle is given by 2πr where “r” is the radius

Range of the circle’s circumference- 6.28 feet to 12.56 feet

Considering lowest radius as r₁ and the largest as r₂

2πr₁= 6.28

∴r₁= 6.28/(3.14*2) = 1 feet

Similarly

⇒2πr₂=12.56/(3.14*2)=2 feet

We know that area of the circle is given by πr ²

Area of the circle= 3.14*(1)² = 3.14 square feet

Area of the largest radius= 3.14*(2)²= 12.56 square feet

Hence Kiley would need glass of area between 3.14 and 12.56 square feet

There are 10 yellow, 6 green, 9 orange, and 5 red cards in a stack of cards turned facedown. Once a card is selected, it is not
babymother [125]

Answer:

3/29

Step-by-step explanation:

There are a total of 10+6+9+5 cards = 30

10 yellow, 6 green, 9 orange, and 5 red cards

Draw a card

P(yellow) = number of yellow cards/ total

               =10/30 = 1/3

Now keep the yellow card

There are a total of 19+6+9+5 cards = 29

Draw a card

P(yellow) = number of yellow cards/ total

                 =9/29

P(yellow, not replaced, yellow) = 1/3 *9/29

                                                   =9 /87 =3/29
