If you graph this, your first point will be at (0,5), as the ramp is at the warehouse door but 5 feet up. The second point is (10,0) as it is touching the ground but it's 10 feet away from the warehouse.
To find slope, you do (y2-y1)/(x2-x1).
When substituting in the variables, you get (0-5)/(10-0), which is -5/10, which is simplified to -1/2. Of course, that is when the warehouse is Quadrant II. If you look at it from another point of view, the slope will be positive so your answer is A) 1/2.

The mileage of a new model SUV on the interstate highway has been stated by the manufacturer as having a mean of 20 mpg and a st
Allushta [10]

Answer: 0.0227502

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x denote the random variable that represents the mileage of SUV.

As per given we have,

\mu = 20

\sigma = 3

sample size : n= 36

We assume that  the mileage of SUV is normally distributed.

Z-score value corresponds to x= 21.0,

z=\dfrac{x-\mu}{\dfrac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}=\dfrac{21-20}{\dfrac{3}{\dfrac{}{36}}}=2

Using standard z-value table ,

The probability that the sample average will be over 21.0 mpg:-

P(X>35)=P(z>2)=1-P(z<2)=1-0.9772498=0.0227502

Hence, the required probability = 0.0227502

Write the statement for given expression a) x+3 b) 8-2x K/2 +1
kiruha [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

Decide which of the following are quadratic equations.

(1) x2 + 5x – 2 = 0

(2) y2 = 5y – 10

(3) y2+

1

y

=2

(4) x+

1

x

=-2

(5) (m + 2) (m – 5) = 0

(6) m3 + 3m2 – 2 = 3m3

ANSWER:

(1) x2 + 5x – 2 = 0

Only one variable x.

Maximum index = 2

So, it is a quadratic equation.

(2) y2 = 5y – 10

Only one variable y.

Maximum index = 2

So, it is a quadratic equation.

(3) y2+

1

y

=2

⇒y3+1=2y

Only one variable y.

Maximum index = 3

So, it is not a quadratic equation.

(4) x+

1

x

=-2

⇒x2+1=-2x

Only one variable x.

Maximum index = 2

So, it is a quadratic equation.

(5) (m + 2) (m – 5) = 0

⇒m2-3m-10=0

Only one variable m.

Maximum index = 2

So, it is a quadratic equation.

(6) m3 + 3m2 – 2 = 3m3

Only one variable m.

Maximum index = 3

So, it is not a quadratic equation.

The answer is 11x+15. To show your work add 6x+8x+-3x(tip if there is a positive and a negative next to each other then the negative wins). You should positive 11. Then u do positive 26+1+-12(if a negative is next to a positive then the negative wins). For that you should get positive 15. So ur answer should be 11x+15. Hope this helps :)
