So base on your question that ask to find the other measurements of the angles that is formed by 2 straight length of wire where as the measurement of one angle is 72 degrees. The wires has a pair of adjacent angles and each of them has 180 degree in total, so the measurement is 108,72,108

We have
angle 1=72 degrees

see the attached picture to better understand the problem

we know that
Vertical angles are congruent
angle1=angle3 \\ angle2=angle4

and

adjacent angles are supplementary
angle2+angle1=180 \\ angle3+angle4=180

if the measure of one of the angles is 72 degrees and straight lines equal 180 degrees you have to
subtract 72 from 180
so
angle 2=180-72 \\ angle 2=108 degrees

therefore
angle 3=amgle 1 \\ angle 3=72 degrees

angle 4=amgle 2 \\ angle 4=108 degrees

the answer is

the measures of the other three angles are
108, 108 and 72 degrees

How would you write the equation with a slope of 2/3 and a y-intercept of (0,-3)?
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

y = (2/3)x - 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

Note that:

y = (x , y)

m = slope

x = (x , y)

b = y-intercept.

The point is given to you. Note that:

(x , y) = (0 , -3) ∴

x = 0

y = -3

The slope = m = 2/3

Plug in the corresponding numbers to the corresponding variable:

y = mx + b

-3 = (2/3)(0) + b

-3 = 0 + b

b = -3

Plug in -3 for b in the equation:

y = mx + b

y = (2/3)x -3

y = (2/3)x - 3 is your equation.

it's asking me to find an equation for the line I drew but I don't know how, and I'm not even sure if my line is correct.
vovangra [49]
Your line is wrong from the start. But for the equation:
y = \frac{15}{2} x

Out of a sample 650 high school students, 321 take the bus to school every day. construct a 99% confidence interval for the popu
gtnhenbr [62]

A 99% confidence interval for the population mean of high school students that take the bus to school every day is b) ci=(44.34%, 54.43%)

We need to find the 99% confidence interval for the population mean of high school students that take the bus to school everyday

A confidence interval is a range of estimates for an unknown parameter. The confidence interval is calculated at the specified confidence level; the most common is the 95% confidence level, but sometimes other levels are used, such as 90% or 99%.

The confidence interval of proportions is given by:

π ± z √(π (1-π) /n)

π is the sample proportion.

z is the critical value.

n is the sample size.

For 99% confidence interval the value of z is 2.58

π = 321/650

The confidence interval is given by

=321/650 ± 2.58 √( (321/650) × [ 1 - (321/650) ] ÷ 650)

= (0.493846 ± 0.050594)

=(0.4434 , 0.5443)

=(44.34 % , 54.43 %)

Hence a 99% confidence interval for the population mean of high school students that take the bus to school every day is ci=(44.34%, 54.43%)
