kumpel [21]

A respiratory rate of less than 20 in infants is a significant finding and indicates a critical patient who should be immediately transported to a trauma centre.

What is respiratory rate?

 • The amount of breaths you take each minute is referred to as your respiratory rate. Adults typically breathe 12 to 20 times per minute while at rest. While resting, an abnormal respiration rate is one that is less than 12 or greater than 25 breaths per minute.
 • A newborn typically breathes between 40 and 60 times per minute. When the baby is sleeping, this may decrease to 30 to 40 times per minute. The breathing pattern of a baby may also differ. A newborn may take multiple rapid breaths, rest for fewer than ten seconds, and then take several more rapid breaths.
 • You may get hypoxemia, or low blood oxygen, if your breathing rate drops too low and persists for too long. respiratory acidosis, when your blood gets very acidic. utter lack of breath.
 • Infants with respiration rates under 20 are a noteworthy finding and should be taken right away to a trauma centre because they are in severe condition.

You would like to bake a special pudding for a friend who has celiac disease. The original pudding recipe is made with whole egg
dexar [7]

Answer:

To make pudding that is safe for your friend to consume, you plan to substitute wheat flour for the corn starch in the recipe.

Explanation:

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease where the ingestion of gluten produces damage in the small intestine.

Gluten is a group of proteins (prolamins and glutelins) found in different cereals such as wheat, barley, rye or oats.

Corn starch does not contain gluten, therefore is a great replacement for wheat flour in recipes.

The following assignment is a reflection of something you do. Your first step is to do something to help another person practice
KiRa [710]

1 a) I chose a close male friend who is a computer professional.

b) The reason why I chose him is that I know his daily schedule and his lifestyle habits as well.

c) Knowing that he is a computer professional, he tends to spend a lot of time on the chair, in front of the computer screen. For the same reason, he has almost no flexibility and has limited time and interest to stretch his joints. Hence, the health practice that I'd be initiating with him would be various stretches that he can do, to flex and use his joints and other muscles as well.

Explanation:

Stretching is a way of keeping muscles and body parts toned as well as healthy and smooth in use. It keeps the joints active, subtle and active for a longer period.

2) Keeping my friend's sedentary physical lifestyle in view, I planned out a series of stretches which could be practiced daily without spending too much extra time on it and would activate his joints and muscles, which ultimately would keep them active, healthy and lead to an overall toned body.

For the same, series of stretches that were put into practice for him were:

 • Wrist rotation: this would make the wrist more relaxed as otherwise, the position of the wrist tends to be the same throughout the day, as he keeps being on the computer screen.
 • Neck rotation: Doing a full circle clockwise and anti-clockwise. This activates the spine as well as releases the shoulders from stiffness.
 • Standing bend over: This stretches the hamstrings and activates the internal organs of the stomach, thus activating the midsection of the body as well.
 • Calf stretches: As the name suggests, it flexes the calves, which otherwise are least used when one keeps sitting.
 • Foot rotation: Similar to neck rotation, this would be rotating the foot in both, clock and anti-clockwise. This relaxes the lower body without much exertion.

These many stretches would be fine for him for an initial period which would help him activate as well relax his joints and muscles.

As the series would not be too time-consuming, he took to doing the same during then start of the day and kept doing it at intervals when he felt stressed out or fatigued.
