Answer:

The dairy industry faces a unique challenge to constantly improve functionality of the dairy cow to meet the needs of future production and reproduction demands. Today’s classification program focuses on a comprehensive set of descriptive traits that describe the animal’s strengths and weaknesses and that collectively depict overall functionality. Since conformation traits are heritable and have been shown to be linked with functionality, selection for conformational traits is an effective tool to facilitate genetic improvement in functionality [11] .

It's been a while since I've done biology, but here are my answers based on my past knowledge and a little research:

1. Chewing your food helps jump-start the digestive process because you are physically breaking down your food while also stimulating your mouth to create saliva which will begin to chemically break down food.

2. The excretory system's primary function is to excrete waste (urea, uric acid, carbon dioxide) from the body.

3. Nutrients extracted by the digestive system are distributed through out the body for a multitude of functions. Some provide growth energy for muscles or other structures, while others, like ions, provide more specific functions like signal transmition.

4. The resperatory system's primary function is to help provide an exchange of gases that are essential to cell respiration and other bodily functions.

5. They are linked through a couple of different features; both work together to provide oxygen and nutrients to cells, and both work together to create homeostasis.

6. The purpose of the Skeletal system is to provides structure for our body, assists with movement, provides protection for our important organs, makes blood cells, and also stores and releases mierals and fat.

7. The muscular system purpose is to provide movement, but it also  provides stability for our joints, maintains posture, and gives us heat.

8. The function of the nervous system is to be the body's control and center for communication between the bodies limbs and functions.

Question 1: One of the central themes in biology is how DNA, RNA, and proteins are related. Describe how genetic information flo
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

Translation is the process by which mRNA is decoded and translated to produce a polypeptide sequence, otherwise known as a protein. This method of synthesizing proteins is directed by the mRNA and accomplished with the help of a ribosome, a large complex of ribosomal RNAs (rRNAs) and proteins. In translation, a cell decodes the mRNA’s genetic message and assembles the brand-new polypeptide chain. Transfer RNA, or tRNA, translates the sequence of codons on the mRNA strand. The main function of tRNA is to transfer a free amino acid from the cytoplasm to a ribosome, where it is attached to the growing polypeptide chain. tRNAs continue to add amino acids to the growing end of the polypeptide chain until they reach a stop codon on the mRNA. The ribosome then releases the completed protein into the cell.

All organisms undergo glycolysis. The final product of glycolysis is pyruvate, a 3-carbon molecule. When will pyruvate undergo f
Naddik [55]

Answer:

The correct answer is given below:

Explanation:

Depending upon the availability of oxygen, pyruvic acid follows, a variety of metabolic pathways.

In the absence of oxygen or under anaerobic conditions, the pyruvic acid further metabolised into one of three pathways: lactic acid fermentation, alcohol fermentation and cellular anaerobic respiration. During fermentation or anaerobic respiration 2 ATP is produced.

In the presence of oxygen or under aerobic conditions, the pyruvic acid completely oxidised to carbon dioxide, water and 38 ATP.
