Answer:

You use the Pythagorean Theorem or a²+b²=c²

a and b are the two shorter sides, c is the hypotenuse, the longest side.

Step-by-step explanation:

I will do them for you:

     12²+16²=20²

   144+256=400

           400=400

Triangle XYZ is a Right Triangle :)

    15²+20²=25²

  225+400=625

           625=625

Triangle PQR is a Right Triangle :)

What is the area of a pizza with a
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

15.7 inch^2

Step-by-step explanation:

A pizza is circular in shape.

Therefore,

Area of a circle = pi r^2

radius r =d/2

From the question , diameter given is 10

r = 10/2 = 5

Pi = 3.142

Area = 3.142 x 5

= 15.71

= 15.7 inch^2

Jean has a loan of $2,000 the rate of simple interest in 8% a year he has paid $640 interest how many years has he had the loan
Andreas93 [3]
Simple interest means the interest at the end of each year will always be 8% of 2000 (assuming he doesnt pay some of it off), and will not be compounded with the existing interest.

To get a percentage, multiply by the percentage/100, in this case i.e. multiply by 0.08.
2000*0.08 = $160.
Therefore he has $160 of interest each year to pay.
Now we just need to work out how many lots of 160 go into 640, i.e. divide through.
640/160 = 4 - therefore he has had the loan for 4 years.

Please HELP!! ILL GIVE BRAINLEST! QUCIK PLEASE HELP!!
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

d. linear; $25/hour

Step-by-step explanation:

From looking at the graph, we have that renting for 2 hours costs $50, for 4 hours costs $100, for 6 hours costs $150, and for 8 hours costs $200. To find out whether the quantities described in the table are linear, we have to see if there is a constant rate of change of price.

For hour 2 to hour 4, we can see that the price increases by $50. This is the same for hour 4 to hour 6 and hour 6 to hour 8. For every 2 hour time interval, the price increases by $50. Therefore, there is a constant rate of change and the quantities described in the table are linear.

Now we have to find the constant rate of change per hour. We know that the price increases by $50 every 2 hours, so, by dividing both the hours and price increase by 2, the price increases by $25 per hour. So the constant rate of change is $25/hour.

Linear. $25/hour

Answer choice d.

A rectangular prism has a volume of 96 ft3.the. Area of the base is 24 ft2.what is the height of the prism?
iren [92.7K]
H= 4 because volume of a prism is V=Bh and V=96 and B = 24 so it would be left as 96=24h So in order to find h we have to divide 24 by each number to find h alone so 24 divided by 24 equals 0 and 96 divided by 24 equals 4 so your answer is 4. Also, if you put the equation together after you find 4 you will see it all adds up. 96=24(4) which is correct
