Chemistry

Answer:

See below.

Explanation:

By definition,

Spectroscopy is the study of various absorption and emission spectra of various elements.

In spectroscopy, we tend to analyse and study the atomic spectra which are formed by irradiating atoms with say, alpha particles.

In case of an absorption spectrum, the atom absorbs the energy of a wave ( concerned with a specific wavelength ) and reachs an "excited state". The remaining waves hit a zinc sulphide plate and we see a spectrum forming.

In case of an emission spectrum, the "excited state" atom release radiation, which hits the plate and we see a spectrum forming.

C. A 75 lb (34 kg) boy falls out of a tree from a height of 10 ft (3 m). (3 points)
KatRina [158]

(I) kinetic energy of the boy when he hits the ground =potential energy

I. e ½mv²=mgh where g is 10ms-²

m=34kg, g=10ms² , h=3m

=34×10×3

=1020j

(i i) v²=u²+2gh

v²=0²+2×10×3

= 60

v=sqrt of 60

What law does a balanced chemical equation demonstrate?
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

The law of conservation of mass

Explanation:

A chemical equation is an expression of the net composition change associated with a chemical reaction. It shows how a certain amount of reactants yields a certain amount of products. Both of these amounts are measured in moles. Chemical equations often contain information about the state of the reactants: solid, liquid, gas, or aqueous. In addition, they always adhere to the law of conservation of mass, which holds that matter can change form, but cannot be created or destroyed.

How does energy change form when friction causes the temperature of an object to increase?
Oksanka [162]
I believe the answer would be through the movement of the molecules, the higher the temperature the more the molecules move around and vibrate.
