812-537=275; 275 more people attended the play on Saturday than on Friday.

What you have to do is find the difference between them. The way to work it out is 812-537. The answer would be 275 because 812-537 = 275.
275 more people went on saturday

PLEASEEE HELP<br> Questions 4 and 5
Ilya [14]

Answer:

  • Given and explained below.

question 4

using sine rule:

\sf sinx = \frac{opp}{hyp}

\sf sinx = \frac{11}{13}

\sf x = sin^{-1}(\frac{11}{13} )

\sf x = 57.8

question 5

using cosine rule:

\sf cosx =\frac{adj}{hyp}

\sf cos(31) =\frac{x}{17}

\sf cos(31)*17 =x

\sf x = 14.6

What is the surface area of a conical grain storage tank that has a height of 37 meters and a diameter of 16 meters? Round the a
jek_recluse [69]
The surface area of a cone is equal to the base plus the lateral area.

The base is a circle, and has a diameter of 16 meters.
The radius is always half the diameter, so it is 8 meters.
The area of a circle = πr², where r is the radius. π(8)² = 64π ≈ 201.06193
The area of the base is ≈ 201.06193.

To find the lateral area of the cone, we need to find the slant height.
Since the height, radius, and slant height of the cone form a right triangle, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the slant height with what we are given.
radius² + height² = slant height²
8² + 37² = slant height²
64 + 1369 = slant height²
1433 = slant height²
slant height = √1433

The lateral area of a cone is equal to πrl, where r = radius and l = slant height.
πrl = π(8)(√1433) ≈ 951.39958
(there are other formulas which do the same thing, but it doesn't matter.)

Now we add the lateral area and base together to find our surface area.
201.06193 + 951.39958 = 1152.46151 which rounds to C. 1,152 m².

4 times the measure of the complement of an angle is equal to 2/3 the measure of the original angles supplement. what is the mea
Irina-Kira [14]
Let angle be x
4 times complement = 4(90 - x)
2/3 times its supplement = 2/3(180 - x)

4(90 - x) = 2/3 (180 - x)
360 - 4x = 120 - 2/3 x
240 =  3 1/3 x
x =  240  /  10/3  = 240 * 3/10  = 72 degrees Answer
