Standard form is ax+by=c
where a and b are normally integers and a is positive

first, get rid of that nasty fraction
times both sides by 3
3y+12=2(x+7)
distribute
3y+12=2x+14
minus 2x from both sides
-2x+3y+12=14
minus 12 from both sides
-2x+3y=2
times both sides by -1
2x-3y=-2

dusya [7]

Answer:

\frac{dC}{dQ} \approx 1.25, C(101)-C(100) = 1.247, \delta = 0.24\,\%

Step-by-step explanation:

The marginal cost function is:

\frac{dC}{dQ} = 12.5\cdot x^{-\frac{1}{2} }

The marginal cost for 100 books is:

\frac{dC}{dQ} \approx 1.25

The difference is:

C(101)-C(100) = 25\cdot (101^{\frac{1}{2} }-100^{\frac{1}{2} })

C(101)-C(100) = 1.247

The relative error is:

\delta = \frac{|1.25-1.247|}{1.25}\times 100\,\%

\delta = 0.24\,\%

GUYS PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME
Lyrx [107]

Answer:

5 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the following equation:

distance (d) = √((x₂ - x₁)² +  (y₂ - y₁)²)

Let:

(x₁ , y₁) = (5 , -1)

(x₂ , y₂) = (9 , 2)

Plug in the corresponding numbers to the corresponding variables:

d = √((9 - 5)² +  (2 - (-1))²)

d = √((4)² + (2 + 1)²)

d = √((16) + (3)²)

d = √(16 + 9)

d = √(25)

d = 5

Your distance between points (9 , 2) & (5, -1) is 5 units.
