As per the properties of field lines we know that

1. Electric field lines originates from positive charge and terminates at negative charge

2. number of field lines originated outwards is directly proportional to the magnitude of charge

So here we can say that number of field lines linked with charge A is more than B so magnitude of charge A will be more

Also we can see that field lines are originated out from charge A and terminated in charge B so charge A is positive and charge B is negative

so the correct answer will be

<u>A).  The signs on charges A and B are opposite. The amount of charge on A is greater than that on B.</u>

goldenfox [79]

Answer:

Explanation:

Let the specific heat of material be s

heat lost by material = m₁ s (T 1 - T ) ,  (T 1 - T ) is fall in temp , m₁ is mass of material

= .45 x s x (91 - 31.4 )

= 26.82 s

Heat gained by water

= m₂ cw (T2 - T )

1.3 x 4186 x ( 31.4 - 23 )

heat lost = heat gained

m₂ cw (T2 - T ) = m₁ s (T 1 - T )

1.3 x 4186 x ( 31.4 - 23 ) =  .45 x s x (91 - 31.4 )

45711.12 = 26.82 s

s = 1704.36

A stone falls from rest from the top of a cliff. A second stone is thrown downward from the same height 2.7 s later with an init
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:4.05 s

Explanation:

Given

First stone is drop from cliff and second stone is thrown with a speed of 52.92 m/s after 2.7 s

Both hit the ground at the same time

Let h be the height of cliff and it reaches after time t

h=\frac{gt^2}{2}

For second stone

h=52.92\times \left ( t-2.7\right )+\frac{g\left ( t-2.7\right )^2}{2}---2

Equating 1 &2 we get

\frac{gt^2}{2}=52.92\times \left ( t-2.7\right )+\frac{g\left ( t-2.7\right )^2}{2}

\frac{g}{2}\left ( t-t+2.7\right )\left ( 2t-2.7\right )-\left ( t-2.7\right )52.92=0

13.23\times \left ( 2t-2.7\right )-\left ( t-2.7\right )52.92=0

26.46t-35.721-52.92t+142.884=0

t=4.05 s
