The answer is a, its not b because theren isnt a 3 in the equation and it isnt c because the m(for mile) is after .50 not 2.50

We have been given that two cab rides cost the same amount for the same number of miles, m, this situation can be represented by the equation,

2.50+0.50m=1.00+0.75m

We have to find out which of the given options is true. To answer this question first of all we will interpret our given equation.

On the left side of equation $2.50 represents fixed charges or initial fee and 0.50m represents variable cost.

While on the right side of equation $1.00 represents fixed charges or initial fee and 0.75m represents variable cost.

This equation tells us that after m number of miles both cab rides will have same cost.

Therefore, looking at all the options we can see that option (a) matches to our interpretation

andrezito [222]
There are 12 different ways she could take a penny, a nickle, and a dime out of here pocket and only pick 2. What i did was i took 2 and 3 and multiplied them. because i can pick 2 coins, and there are 3 coins in total. After i multiplied them i got 6, then i got 2 and multiplied it by 6 and came out with 12. The reason why i did that is because there are 6 outcomes so far then you have to multiply them by 2 to get all of your complete outcomes. I hope i could help!!! Please give me brainliest!!! Work out the area of a rectangle with base, b = 32mm and perimeter, P = 82mm.
Amanda [17]
Perimeter = 2base + 2base
82 - 2(32) = 18 : 2 = 9
