The speed at which you launch the ball is the same as the speed at which it lands. Because we assume there is no friction there is no energy loss, so the initial kinetic energy has to be conserved. This also doesn't depend on the angle. Changing the angle will only change how far the ball will fly and what maximum height it will reach.
The y and x components of the velocity vector are changing with the angle.
I will assume that velocity that is given is y component.
v_y=v_o\sin(30)\\ v_0=\frac{18}{sin(30)}\\ v_0=36\frac{m}{s}
If we launch at the 45-degree angle y component is:
v_y'=v_0\sin(45)\\ v_y'=25.5\frac{m}{s}

I want to say its cooled by reflection because of the foil, sun reflects off of the foil back into the atmosphere. I don't think it's conduction because I have the foil on my windows and it's never warm to the touch. it's not a liquid so I don't believe it's convection. The foil reflects the radiation so I don't think it's b, c or d. so I wanna say A but I'm not 100% sure

Sun warms the earth with Electromagnetic Radiations.

Sun emits out short range radiation in the form of Electromagnetic (EM) Radiation. Our Atmosphere is transparent to EM radiation. It does not heats up the atmosphere but when it collide with the solid objects or particles it is absorbed, reflected or refracted and the object heats up and start emitting radiation in the form of long wave radiation. Our Earth does the same. The long wave radiation emitted by the earth surface is absorbed by our atmosphere and it heats up. Therefore, we can say our atmosphere is heated from below.
