Why doesn't a ball roll on forever after being kicked at a soccer game

Physics

The ball has to push things out of its way in order to keep going.
For example:

-- billions of air molecules
-- hundreds of blades of grass .

-- To push something out of its way, the ball exerts a force against the
obstacle, and pushes it some distance.

-- A force acting through a distance is 'work', and that means 'energy'.

-- The ball has a certain amount of energy ... the amount you gave it
when you kicked it.  It gives every air molecule and blade of grass a
little bit of energy, so the ball has less and less as it goes along.

-- Eventually, it has no more energy to use to push things out of the way.
No energy means no motion, so it stops.

-- If it were in space where there are no air molecules and no grass,
it would go on forever.

Why do some elements on the periodic chart have three letters as a symbol, all starting with a U?
TiliK225 [7]
These elements are synthetic elements in that they do not occur naturally and only as a result of being made in a scientific laboratory. Elements are given the Uu(x) name as a placeholder until IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) approves an actual name for the element. This is under a process called "systematic element naming" (feel free to give it a google). The IUPAC grants the discoverers of the new element the right to suggest the name for that new element, so you may find that those weird Uu(x) elements have an actual name soon!!

Virty [35]
Ocean waves and sound waves are : mechanical wave. A and B aren't right at all. and C is  wrong because they aren't electromagnetic.
Mechanical wave is a wave that is an oscillation of matter, and therefore transfers energy through a medium.

Hope this help
