Answer:

1. Obeng said that we are not able to comprehend the full scope of the 21st century because, we tend to respond in a logical manner to problems we understand but which do not exist anymore.

2. Yes the pace of change has eclipsed the pace of learning.

3. "Smart Failure" occurs when we try at inventing something but end up failing at it.

Explanation:

Eddie Obeng acknowledges the fact that we live in a fast changing world technology wise and our creative abilities are unable to keep up with the fast pace of change. Obeng asserts that;

1. People are no longer accommodating failure. Thus when people people fail at tasks which are procedural in nature, they get fired or get dubbed as smart failures if they fail at an invention. So, the fear of failure keeps people from thinking outside the box.

2. Yes it is true that the pace of change has eclipsed or overshadowed the pace of learning. Technological inventions as well as progress in other field move at a fast rate that we do not keep up in knowing all there is to know. This could be because of the voluminous information at our disposal and the lack of zeal at learning.

3. People are dubbed "Smart failure" when they try at being innovative, but fail at it.

What happened to tribes when the Europeans made these new borders?
bixtya [17]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

It seems that ypur question is incomplete because it doesn't include any context, reference, map, or something we can use to help you answer the question.

What tribes are you referring to? What is the time in history?

However, trying to help you, we can comment on the following.

We assume that you are referring to the European presence in Africa after the Berlin Conference of 1855. If that is the case, then we can say that what happened to tribes when the Europeans made these new borders was that they eliminate some borders, modified others, create new regions, moved tribes from their former territories, and displaced people.

This was a moment in history known as the Scramble for Africa," that started in 1885 and ended approximately in 1914.

The European countries involved in the partition of Africa were France, Great Britain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Belgium. In reality, these countries were only interested in colonizing Africa to exploit the many raw materials and natural resources of the continent.
