Jamie took 2 hour and 30 minutes to reach the because 5:30-3:00=2hours and 30 minutes.Raul took 1 hour 30 minutes to reach state park because 4:30-3:00=1 hour and 30 minutes.Since they went in opposite directions you can add the time to get 4 hour.It would take 4 hours to go from the beach to state park.There speed was 60 miles per hour since 240/60=4/1 mph.

Given:
Jamie: house to beach = 3 pm to 5:30 pm = 2 hours and 30 minutes
Raul: house to state park  = 3 pm to 4:30 pm = 1 hour and 30 minutes

Distance of beach and state park = 240 mi
travel from beach to state park = 2 hours and 30 minutes + 1 hour and 30 minutes = 4 hours

speed = distance / time
s = 240 mi / 4 hours
s = 60 mi/hr

Their speed is 60 miles per hour.

What is the correct classification for ∠QPS?
rewona [7]
∠QPS is part of the right angle, and it takes 90 - 21 degrees of it.
90 - 21 = 69°

Now take 69 and add 22, the rest of ∠QPS.
69 + 22 = 91

∠QPS is 91°, which is larger than a right angle, 90°, so that means it is an obtuse angle.

RoseWind [281]

The evaluation of 84 2/3% to a fraction in its lowest term is \mathbf{ \dfrac{127}{150} }

<h3>What is a fraction?</h3>

Fractions are sections or parts of a whole. They are divided into two parts, the numerator, and the denominator.

From the given information, we are to convert a mixed fraction into its lowest terms. By doing that, we are to convert it to an improper fraction.

\mathbf{= 84 \dfrac{2}{3}\%}

\mathbf{= \dfrac{(84 \times 3)+2}{3} \%}

\mathbf{= \dfrac{254}{3} \%}

\mathbf{= \dfrac{254}{3} \times \dfrac{1}{100}}

\mathbf{= \dfrac{254}{300} }

Divide both the numerator and denominator by (2)

\mathbf{= \dfrac{127}{150} }
