The answer is 5,500. 5 hundreds is equal to 500 because 5*100=500. 5 tens is equal to 50 because 5*10=50. So then you add 500 and 50 to get 550. The problem then says to multiply by ten you’d do 550*10. The answer to that is 5,500. If you have any questions please comment.

Quadratic function ( in standard form ):

y = a x² + b x + c

x = 0:

635 = 0 + 0 + c

c = 635

x = 1:

644 = a + b + 635

a + b = 9

x = 2:

719 = 4 a + 2 b + 635

4 a + 2 b = 84

and now we have a system:

a + b = 9   /  * ( - 2 )

4 a + 2 b = 84

-------------------------

- 2 a + 2 b = - 18

+

 4 a + 2 b  = 84

-------------------------

  2 a = 66

 a = 33;   b = - 24;

 Function is:

 f ( x ) = 33 x² - 24 x + 635

f ( 8 ) = 33 * 64 - 24 * 8 + 635 = 2,112 - 192 + 635 = 2,555

 Answer: The number of waterfowl on week 8 would be 2,555.

SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

Pr = 0.50

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

n = 30

H = 21

T = 9

See attachment for complete question

Required

P(H)

The question requires that we calculate the theoretical probability of landing on the head.

This means that, we have to ignore the given data, and we use the following

S =\{H,T\} --- sample space

n(S) = 2 --- sample size

n(H) = 1 --- occurrence of Head

So, the theoretical probability is:

Pr = n(H)/n(S)

Pr = 1/2

Pr = 0.50
