heyy soo i just started math class and im veryy confused I've tried different things to get to the answer but it didn't work soo
german

yes sure, i learned this before so

1. a. make a proportion here, of percentage. \frac{225}{250} =\frac{x}{100} if you cross multiply and divide you get 90%.

1. b. obviously the empty seats would be 10%.

2. a. proportion again, \frac{0.90}{6.00} =\frac{x}{100} cross multiply then divide you ge 15%

3. 30% in decimal form is 0.3. multiply it then to the total amount, so 0.3 x 15 = 4.5

Solve for the x using elimination <br> 3x-2y=13x−2y=1 <br> 2x+2y=42x+2y=4
Nikitich [7]

3x - 2y = 1

2x + 2y = 4

Add the second equation to the first

5x     = 5

2x + 2y = 4

Divide the first equation by 5

x        = 1

2x + 2y = 4

Subtract the first equation from the second

x        = 1

x + 2y = 3

Subtract the first equation from the second again

x        = 1

   2y = 2

Divide the second equation by 2

x        = 1

      y = 1

<h3>So, the solution is  x = 1  and  y = 1  {or: (1, 1)} </h3>

2[7+2(6.8-4)] whatbis the answer
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

25.2

Step-by-step explanation:

A calculator will evaluate this for you. If you don't have one, you can use a Google search box.

The Order of Operations tells you to start evaluation with the inner parentheses. Multiplication is performed before addition.

2(7 +2(2.8))

= 2(7 +5.6)

= 2(12.6)

= 25.2
