The equation would be y = -1/2 - 9/2

I'm not the -9/2 is 100% correct because I didn't use a coordinate grid to do it, I made a graph myself, so 4 1/2 is a rough estimate of what the y intercept would be.

Hey there!

Okay let's get to this problem!

First we need to solve for the slope...

m = (-2 + 6) / (-5 - 3)
m = 4/-8
<u>m = -1/2</u>

Next we use the point-slope equation to find the equation of the line

(y - y₁) = m(x - x₁)
(y + 2) = -1/2(x + 5)
<u>y = (-x/2) - (9/2)</u><u />     <----- There's your answer!

<u>Please vote me for Brainliest it would mean a lot to me!</u><u /> ^__^

love history [14]
To work out what the other side is that you times 12 to get to 24 you would do: 24 divided by 12 equals 2 therefore you would do 12 times 2 to get 24

Juan ramirez sells suits in a major department store on weekends he Ernst a commission of 5 percent on the first ten suits and h
romanna [79]

Answer:

$185

Step-by-step explanation:

The first ten suits sold for 10×$250 = $2,500

commission = 5% of $2,500 = 0.05×$2,500 = $125

The next three suits sold for 3×$250 = $750

commission = 8% of $750 = 0.08×$750 = $60

Total commissions = $125+$60 = $185
