Answer: Option (d) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

Kinetic energy is defined as the energy obtained by an object due to its motion.

Kinetic energy is directly related to temperature as follows.

                 Kinetic energy = \frac{3}{2}kT

where,          k = boltzmann constant

                     T = temperature

So, whenever there will be increase in temperature then there will be increase in kinetic or average kinetic energy of molecules of a substance.

This is because increase in temperature causes movement in the molecules of a substance. Due to this there will be increase in number of collisions.

Thus, we can conclude that increasing temperature of the object can be used to increase the average kinetic energy of the molecules of an object.

KE = 1/2 m v^2

If you increase the mass and the speed remains constant, then that will increase the KE. The KE formula has mass as one of its components.

If you increase the temperature, of the speed will increase (v will increase).  If v gets larger, the KE get's larger.

At 25 °c, what is the hydroxide ion concentration, [oh–], in an aqueous solution with a hydrogen ion concentration of [h ] = 3.0
chubhunter [2.5K]

As,

Water has a pkw=14

so it can be represented as,

[H+] [OH-] = 1*10^-14

If [H+] = 3*10^-5M

[OH-] = (1*10^-14) / ( 3*10^-5)

[OH-] = 3.3*10^-9 M

What is the wavelength of light that has a frequency of 3.7 x 1014 Hz? Show all work!!!
kramer

Answer:

Explanation:

f=\frac{c}{\lambda}=>\lambda=\frac{c}{f}=\frac{300x10^8\frac{m}{s}}{3.7*10^{14}\frac{1}{s}}=810.8108*10^{-9}m

Hello, I need some help writing a paragraph about the water cycle! If u can write a paragraph EXPLAINING the water cycle i would
Serhud [2]

Answer:

The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle or the hydrological cycle, describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth. The mass of water on Earth remains fairly constant over time but the partitioning of the water into the major reservoirs of ice, fresh water, saline water and atmospheric water is variable depending on a wide range of climatic variables. The water moves from one reservoir to another, such as from river to ocean, or from the ocean to the atmosphere, by the physical processes of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, infiltration, surface runoff, and subsurface flow. In doing so, the water goes through different forms: liquid, solid (ice) and vapor. Hope this helps, mark as brainliest please!
