there were 6 books in each set becuase If you add 22 plus 8 is equal to 30. 30 is the number of book of all 5 sets put together you divide 30 by 5 to figure out how many were in each set and 30÷5 is equal to 6. 6 is the number of books in each set.

If c=25 and B=75 degrees, find a. Round to the nearest tenth.
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

a=6.9

Step-by-step explanation:

Since you know that C is a right angle, you can use the Law of Sines to find a. The first step is to find the size of the angle A, which is 180-74-90=16. Now, you set up a ratio that involves 3 knowns and one unknown to get \frac{\sin(90^\circ)}{25} = \frac{\sin(16^\circ)}{a}, which after cross multiplying yields a=\sin(16^\circ)\cdot25\approx 6.9. A pencil and an eraser cost 1.10 together. if the pencil costs one dollar more than the eraser how much does the eraser cost
Kazeer [188]

1 pencil + 1 eraser = $1.10

Pencil cost $1 more than the eraser.

⇒ If we take away $1 from the total, both the pencil and the eraser will cost the same.

⇒ $1.10 - $1.00 = $0.10

Divide by 2 to find the cost of the eraser.

⇒$0.10 ÷ 2 = $0.05

Find the cost of the pencil, which is $1 more than the eraser.

⇒ $0.05 + $1 = $1.05

Answer: The eraser costs $0.05
