Mashutka [201]
X/2 the X is a secret number =2x/4 = 5/8. First find out what is 5 times 8=40 Now you have 40. Next multiply 2 times 4=8 Now 8 times what equals 40 or 40 divide by 8 and that equals 5 so X is 5 now it should look like 5/2=2 5/4=5/8 (Hope I helped if I didn't may God be with you for more help)

A store buys jeans from the manufacturer for $30 each and sells them for a 50% profit. At the end of the season, the store reduc
Ipatiy [6.2K]
50% of $30.00 = $15.00 profit during season
The store does not make a profit on the sale of the jeans at the end of season because the store sells the jeans for $30.00 + $15.00 = $45.00
per jean. 50% sale reduces the price to half. $22.50. There will be a loss since the store purchased the jeans for $30.00

Effective Rate find the effective rate of interest corresponding to a nominal rate of 7.5% per year compounded.
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

(A) 7.5 %

(B) 3.75 %

(C) 2.5%

(D) 0.625 %

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given effective rate of interest r = 7.5%

(a) Annual rate of interest will be equal to 7.5 %

(B) As we know that 1 year = 12 months

And interest is compounded semiannually

1 semiannual = 6 months

So semiannual rate of interest will be equal to \frac{7.5}{2}=3.75 %

(c) 1 quarter = 4 month

So number of period in an year = 3

So rate of interest quarterly =\frac{7.5}{3}=2.5 %

(D) Amount when amount is compounded monthly '

So number of period in an year = 12

So rate of interest =\frac{7.5}{12}=0.625 %
