I like math because it gets me thinking a lot. math helps me in the world because we need to know how to do math in order to go shopping or we will not give the cashier the correct amount or maybe you will give them an extra amount of money because you can't do math.

I like math because it starts making think more and more and get smarter, also sometimes it is very fun but challenging but I love being challenged!Also helping friends or anyone is fun when they need help because sometimes I already know the answer. So to me, math is really fun and I love it! ^-^

Find the area of the figure below.
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

Area = 42 in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

here's your solution

=> divide above picture in two parts

=> rectangle and traingle

=> area of rectangle = length* width

=> area of rectangle = (5*6)in.

=> area of rectangle = 30 in^2

=> now, area of traingle = 1/2*base *height

=> area of traingle = 1/2*4*6

=> area of traingle = 12 in^2

=> area of figure = 30 in^2 + 12 in^2

=> Area = 42 in^2

hope it helps
