Answer:

C) 12 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Leanne can clean a fish tank in 30 minutes

            Karl can clean a fish tank in 20 minutes

To find :

If they work together, how many minutes does it take them to clean a fish tank.

Solution :

Leanne can clean  fish tank in 30 minutes = 1 fish tank

Leanne can clean fish tank in 1 minute = 1/30 part of fish tank

Karl  can clean  fish tank in 20 minutes = 1 fish tank

Karl  can clean  fish tank in 1 minute = 1/20 part of fish tank

If they work together, they can clean fish tank in 1 minute

=  \frac{1}{30} +\frac{1}{20}

= \frac{5}{60}

Thus,  If they work together, they can clean fish tank in 1 minute = 5/60 part of  fish tank

 If they work together, they can clean 5/60 part of fish tank = 1 minute

 If they work together, they can clean 1 fish tank

= \frac{1}{\frac{5}{60}}

=  \frac{60}{5}

= 12 minutes

Thus , If they work together it will take 12 minutes to clean a fish tank .

It said "no association between this dude winning and loss in harsh condition"

now look at harsh condition, total is 20, since there is no association that means they are the same, which is 10 and 10

WIN column total is 168, 158 for normal condition, 10 for harsh condition, adds up to 168.

LOSS column total is 72, 62 for normal condition and 10 for harsh condition, adds up to 72.

if u wana check if it adds up with Normal Condition, 62 plus 158 is 220.

checked, complete, this is david signing off

You have worked as a guide at the aquarium for two summers. This summer you have been offered the job again, but with a 4 percen
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

More earn this summer per month = $30 more

Entire summer earning (for 2.5 months) = $1950

Step-by-step explanation:

For 2.5 months, you got 1875 dollars, so per month salary is:

1875/2.5 = $750 per month

This summer, you got a 4% raise, that means:

4% = 4/100 = 0.04

The raise is:

0.04 * 750 = $30 raise

So, new monthly salary is:

750 + 30 = $780

So, assuming you will work 2.5 months again this summer, you total earnings would be:

2.5 * 780 = $1950

Solve for z. 7z+ 4 – 9z = 8 z = [?]
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

z = -2

Step-by-step explanation:

7z + 4 - 9z = 8 (The first step is to combine like terms, so 7z -9z = -2z)

-2z + 4 = 8 (Subtract 4 on each side)

-2z = 4 (Divide each side by -2)

z = -2

You can plug -2 back in to check, and you get:

7(-2) + 4 -9(-2) = 8

-14 + 4 + 18 = 8

8 = 8

Hopefully, this helped. Good luck!
