A polynomial with roots/zeros at r1,r2,r3 has factors
(x-r1)(x-r2)(x-r3)

zeroes -6,5,-2
(x-(-6))(x-5)(x-(-2)) or
(x+6)(x-5)(x+2)

the function is f(x)=(x+6)(x+2)(x-5) or expanded f(x)=x^3+3x^2-28x-60

Given zeroes are:
x1 = -6
x2 = 5
x3 = -2

The general formula for cubic function that has zeroes is: (factor form)
(x-x1)*(x-x2)*(x-x3)

if we express our zeroes we get:
(x+6)*(x-5)*(x+2) = (x^2 - 5x +6x - 30)(x+2) = (x^2 + x - 30) ( x+2)=
x^3 + x^2 -30x +2x^2 + 2x - 60 = x^3 +3x^2 -32x - 60

Choose the graph below that represents the following system of inequalities: y ≥ −3x + 1 y ≤ 1 over 2x + 3
shtirl [24]
The complete question in the attached figures  N 1 and N 2

we have that

<span>the following system of inequalities:
y ≥ −3x + 1
y ≤ (1/2)x + 3

using a graph tool
see the attached figure N 3

the answer is the option
</span><span>B)Graph of two lines that intersect at one point. Both lines are solid. One line passes through points negative 2, 2 and 0, 3 and is shaded below the line. The other line passes through points 0, 1 and 1, negative 2 and is shaded above the line.</span>

write an equation in y=mx+b for a line that passes through (3,-4) &amp; has a slope of -3. you can write it in point-slope and c
dedylja [7]
Y = -3x + b
Plug in point
-4 = -3(3) + b
-4 = -9 + b, b = 5
Solution: y = -3x + 5

a boat travels 252 miles in 13 hours (with a constant speed) How much time will it take traveling 279 miles?
Ilya [14]

Answer: 14.4 h

The speed is : v=\frac{d}{t} =\frac{252}{13} =19.46 miles/h\\

The time it takes to travel 279 miles :

t'=\frac{d}{v} =\frac{279}{19.46} =14.4 hours
