Answer:

Type 2 diabetes is caused by things such as unhealthy lifestyles. Type 2 diabetes is something developed in life rather than you being born with it as you would with type 1.

Explanation:

I have many family members including a sibling that suffers with this chronic illness so I've been to plenty of doctors appointments with them and have had the pleasure to ask medical proffessionals questions as such.

Type 1 is where you’re born with it while Type 2 is where you develop it from eating unhealthy. Type 1 happens when the immune system starts attacking the pancreas so it makes it really hard to fight infections.

Hot and spicy are not _________ but __________________
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

alike, are similar.

Explanation:

Hot is when it is right out of the oven. The hot will eventually cool down. But, spicy is there always, and will not go away. (Unless you add something to cool it off)

So that is why the first blank is "alike", and the second is "are similar."

Hope this helped!

Repeated use of marijuana affects the parts of the brain that control memory, attention, and learning.
never [62]

Answer: True.

Repeated use of marijuana affects the parts of the brain that controls memory, attention, and learning. "Cannabinoids work by influencing the endocannabinoid system, specifically the brain and central nervous system.  THC gets its potent effect because it binds well with the Cannabinoid 1 receptor (known as CB1), while CBD exhibits low affinity for either CB1 or CB2 receptors. Instead, CBD acts as an indirect antagonist of these receptors."
