In recent weeks, the resident has been awakening three to four times each night to empty his bladder of small amounts of urine.
Komok [63]

In recent weeks, the resident has been awakening three to four times each night to empty his bladder of small amounts of urine. The residents' nighttime voiding habits would be considered nocturia.

Bladder is the organ of the excretory system. It is located at the lower abdomen, at the pelvic region. Its function is to store the urine. Any problem in the bladder is generally caused due to the weakening of the muscles of bladder, or due to nerve damage.

Nocturia is the frequent waking up at night to urinate. It can happen either due to Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) or due to problems in the bladder. It can also be accompanied by the sensations of burning.
