For many years the phrase "Seeing is believing" has been propagated as a way to question and verify the information that reaches us. "Seeing is believing" reflects an evidential thought, where something must be witnessed and touched to be credible. We cannot agree with that.

Agreeing with this phrase is a way of denying all the scientific and technological advances that humanity has gone through. This is because there are countless things that could be scientifically proven and that we cannot see, such as DNA, atoms, molecules, RNA, among others. Atoms, for example, were proven through scientific techniques and devices that were modernized and allowed us to reach a conclusion without being able to see the atoms, but knowing that they are real.

We must not be denialists, especially in scientific matters, because science is one of the main factors for the advancement of society, without scientific advancement there is no progress.

Therefore, we must motivate the phrase "Seeing is believing" to "Proving is believing", which is very rational and coherent.
