Answer:water enters the cell by osmosis

Explanation:

Water enters the cell by the method of osmosis which is the flow of water through a semi permeable membrane from higher concentration to lower concentration. It is basically passive transport.water crosses the cell membrane of the cell consists of a phospholipid bilayer which consists of a hydrophobic (outer or facing the environment) end and a hydrophilic (facing the inner side of cell )end ,so water crosses this membrane which is semi permeable and enters the cell.

In plants, meristematic cells are most similar to which type of cells in animal
tissues?
Vinvika [58]

Stem cells of the animals are the most similar to the meristematic cells of the plant.

Explanation:

 • Meristematic cells are the most important cells for the plant which give rise to the various tissues and plant organs. These meristematic cells are capable to undergo cell division and they are called totipotent.
 • The stem cells of animals and humans are capable of doing the function by replacing the new cells for growth and development.
 • The difference among these two tissues is that meristematic is capable to produce total organs whereas stem cells are capable to produce only specific tissues.
