Answer: Nanotechnology is the branch of technology that covers the manipulation of matter in the range for 1 to 100 nanometers (where 1 nanometer is equivalent to 1x10^(-9) meters)

One important thing of the nanotechnology is that in this scale size the effects of the quantum mechanics start to be relevant, wich makes this a whole different thing that the technologies that we know.

You also may notice that the description of the branch is very broad, fields that may enter in it are: Molecular enginering, surface science, molecular biology, etc.

An organ pipe open at both ends is 1.5 m long. A second organ pipe that is closed at one end and open at the other is 0.75 m lon
telo118 [61]

Answer:

A. 110Hz,220Hz, 330 Hz

Explanation:

for organ open at open both ends;

the length of the organ for the fundamental frequency, L = A---->N + N----->A

A---->N  = λ /4 and N----->A = λ /4

L = λ /4 + λ /4 = λ /2

L = \frac{\lambda}{2} \\\\\lambda = 2L

λ  = 2 x 1.5m = 3.0 m

Wave equation is given by;

V = Fλ

Where;

V is the speed of sound

F is the frequency of the wave

F = V/ λ

F₀ = V / 2L

Where;

F₀  is the fundamental frequency

F₀ = 330 / 2(1.5)

F₀ = 330 / 3

F₀ = 110 Hz

the length of the organ for the first overtone, L = A---->N + N----->A + A----->N +  N----->A

L = 4λ /4

L = λ

λ = 1.5 m

F₁ = 330 / 1.5

F₁ = 220 Hz

Thus, F₁ = 2F₀

For open organ at one end

the length of the organ for the fundamental frequency, L = N------A

L = λ /4

λ = 4L

F₀ = V/4L

F₀ = 330 / (4 x 0.75)

F₀ = 110 Hz

the length of the organ for the first overtone, L = N-----N + N-----A

L = λ/2 + λ / 4

L = 3λ /4

F₁ = 3F₀

F₁ = 3 x 110

F₁ = 330 Hz

Thus the fundamental frequency for both organs is 110 Hz,

The first overtone for the organ open at both ends is 220 Hz

The first overtone for the organ open at one end is 330 Hz

The correct option is "A. 110Hz,220Hz, 330 Hz"

A pilot who accelerates at more than 4 g begins to "gray out" but doesn’t completely lose consciousness. (a) Assuming constant a
Allushta [10]

Answer:

33.7410805301 s

22336.5953109 m

Explanation:

t = Time taken

u = Initial velocity

v = Final velocity = 4\times 331

s = Displacement

a = Acceleration = 4g=4\times 9.81\ m/s^2

g = Acceleration due to gravity = 9.81 m/s²

v=u+at\\\Rightarrow t=\dfrac{v-u}{a}\\\Rightarrow t=\dfrac{4\times 331-0}{4\times 9.81}\\\Rightarrow t=33.7410805301\ s

The time taken is 33.7410805301 s

s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2\\\Rightarrow s=0\times t+\dfrac{1}{2}\times 4\times 9.81\times 33.7410805301^2\\\Rightarrow s=22336.5953109\ m

The plane would travel 22336.5953109 m

Communications satellites transmit UV waves
balandron [24]
If any of them do, it's not intentional, that is, it's not part of
the design of the communications satellite.

Communications satellites communicate with their customers
and their control centers on the ground using plain old UHF radio
and microwave signals.

The name of the SI unit force
Lelechka [254]

Answer: Newton

Explanation:-

Force is defined as an interaction that causes an affected object to be pushed or pulled in a certain direction.

Force=m\times a

where m= mass of an object

a = acceleration of the object

S.I unit of mass is kg and S.I units of acceleration is ms^{-2}

Thus For S,I units of force:

Force=kg\times ms^{-2}=1Newton
