The gravitational force between two objects is 1600 N what will be the gravitational force if they double

Physics

Answer:

It will be 6400 N

Explanation:

The gravitational force between two objects is given by

F=G\frac{m_1 m_2}{r^2}

where

G is the gravitational constant

m1, m2 are the masses of the two objects

r is the distance between the two objects

In this problem, the masses of the two objects double, so

m_1 =2 m_1\\m_2 = 2 m_2

Substituting into the formula, we find

F'=G\frac{(2m_1)(2m_2)}{r^2}=4(G\frac{m_1 m_2}{r^2})=4F

so, the force will quadruple, and since the original force was

F = 1600 N

The new force will be

F'=4\cdot 1600 N = 6400 N

The engine in an imaginary sports car can provide constant power to the wheels over a range of speeds from 0 to 70 miles per hou
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

Part A

it would take 6 sec

it would take 3 sec

Explanation:

We are told that the power supplied to the wheel is constant which means that the sport car is gaining energy i.e

                           power \ \alpha  \ energy

Hence if power is constantly supplied energy constantly increase

From the formula of the Kinetic energy

                       KE  = \frac{1}{2} mv^2

we can see that as the speed doubles from 29 mph  to 58 mph  the energy needed is 2^2 = 4 times of the energy from the formula

   Also the time needed would also be 4 times because energy i directly proportional to time

       Hence to reach 58mph the time that it would take is

                          = 4* 1.5sec = 6sec

We are told that the ground pushes the car  with a constant force and

                 F = ma

this means that the acceleration is also constant

             now from newtons law

     v = u +at

 Looking at it we see that final velocity is directly proportional with time

hence it would take twice the time to reach twice the final velocity

        Time to reach 58mph = 3 s

        since time to reach 29 mph(\frac{1}{2} \ of \ [58mph]) =( \frac{1}{2} \ of \ 3sec )1.5 s

attashe74 [19]

Answer:

Psychology is theoretically diverse.

Explanation:

The theme, 'Psychology is theoretically diverse' means that the psychology has many various views and points. This is because when people make many observations they can go several and many different ways with these observations. This is why Psychology has many perspectives. The differing perspectives provide complete understanding of the human behavior more effectively.

Hence, different perspectives of the three professionals mentioned illustrate this theme.

Under constant pressure, the temperature of 2.43 mol of an ideal monatomic gas is raised 11.9 K. What are (a) the work W done by
const2013 [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

no of moles n=2.43

Temperature raised \Delta T=11.9 k

Work done by gas

W=\int_{V_1}^{V_2}PdV

W=P\Delta V

W=nR\Delta T

W=2.43\times 8.314\times 11.9

W=240.41 kJ

(b)Energy Transferred as heat

Q=nc_p\Delta T

c_p=specific heat at constant Pressure

c_p for ideal Mono atomic gas is \frac{5R}{2}

Q=2.43\times \frac{5R}{2}\times 11.9

Q=601.03 kJ

(c)Change in Internal Energy

\Delta U=Q-W

\Delta U=601.03-240.41=360.62 kJ

(d)Change in average kinetic Energy \Delta k

K.E._{avg}=\frac{3}{2} \times k\times T

\Delta K.E.=\frac{3}{2} \times k\times \Delta T  ,where k=boltzmann constant

\Delta K.E.=\frac{3}{2}\times 1.38\times 10^{-23}\times 11.9

\Delta K.E.=2.46\times 10^{-22} J
