I believe that if you multiply 120 x 45 you would get 5,400 why? Because when a problem has "of" means to multiply.

So... the vacuum cleaner is 5,400 percent efficient :)

Sorry if it's wrong I'm only in fifth grade

What is the relationship between chromosomes and a body's appearance? (A) Chromosomes make it possible for all bodies to exactly
Katen [24]

Answer: The correct option is B.

Chromosomes contain genes that tell the body how to grow and work.

Explanation:

This is because chromosomes contain alot of human genes which are found in the nucleus and every humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes. The sets of genes determines some of the body features, characteristics or traits. The genes in the body form the genotype and the genotype is expressed physically which is now the phenotype i.e traits expressed physically in the body which is an indication of body appearance.

A substance sample has a Mass of 45.0 g, and the Data Safety
marishachu [46]

The volume of the sample is 48.39 cm³.

<h3 /><h3>What is volume?</h3>

The term volume refers to the amount of three-dimensional space taken up by an item or a closed surface

To calculate the volume of the sample, we use the formula below

Formula:

  • D = m/v
  • v = m/D................ Equation 1

Where:

  • m = Mass of the smaple
  • D = Density of the sample
  • v = Volume of the sample.

From the question,

Given:

  • m = 45 g
  • D = 0.93 g/cm³

Substitute these values into equation 1

  • v = 45/0.93
  • v = 48.39 cm³

Hence, the volume of the sample is 48.39 cm³.

Youare on a train travelling northat 80.0m/s relative to the ground. The air is still relativetothegroundwhen you hear the whist
AURORKA [14]

To solve this problem we will apply the concepts related to the Doppler effect. This is understood as the change in apparent frequency of a wave produced by the relative movement of the source with respect to its observer. Mathematically this is given as,

f = \frac{v \pm v_r}{v \pm v_s}(f_0)

Here,

v = Speed of the waves in the middle

v_r = Speed of the receiver in relation to the medium (Positive if the receiver is moving towards the transmitter or vice versa)

v_s = Speed of the source with respect to the medium (Positive if the source moves away from the receiver or vice versa)

Our values are given as,

v = 342m/s

f_0 = 262Hz

v_r = 80m/s

f = 350Hz

Replacing,

350 = \frac{342+80}{342-v} (262)

Solving for the velocity of the source,

v = 26.1m/s

Therefore the speed of the other train is 26.1m/s

Two sinusoidal waves are moving through a medium in the positive x-direction, both having amplitudes of 7.00 cm, a wave number o
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

0.99 m

Explanation:

Parameters given:

Amplitude, A = 7.00cm

Wave number, k = 3.00m^-1

Angular Frequency, ω = 2.50Hz

Period = 6.00 s

Phase, ϕ = π/12 rad

Note: All parameters are the same for both waves except the phase.

Wave 1 has a wave function:

y1(x, t) = Asin(kx - ωt)

y1(x, t) = 7sin(3x - 2.5t)

Wave 2 has a wave function:

y2(x, t) = Asin(kx - ωt + ϕ)

y2(x, t) = 7sin(3x - 2.5t + π/12)

π is in radians.

When Superposition occurs, the new wave is represented by:

y(x, t) = 7sin(3x - 2.5t) + 7sin(3x - 2.5t + π/12)

y(x, t) = 7[sin(3x - 2.5t) + sin(3x - 2.5t + π/12)]

Using trigonometric function:

sin(a) + sin(b) = 2cos[(a - b)/2]sin[(a + b)/2]

Where a = 3x - 2.5t, b = 3x - 2.5t + π/12

We have that:

y(x, t) = (2*7)[cos(π/24)sin(3x - 2.5t + π/24)]

Therefore, when x = 0.53cm and t = 2s,

y(x, t) = (2*7)[cos(π/24)sin{(3*0.53) - (2.5*2)+ π/24}]

y(x, t) = 14 * 0.9914 * 0.0713

y(x, t) = 0.99 m

The height of the resultant wave is 0.99cm
