Pi would be the irrational number. Anything that can not be written as a fraction is considered irrational and pi is never ending so it can not be written as a fraction.

Divide. 413÷129 Enter your answer, as a mixed number in simplest form, in the box.
kompoz [17]

For this case we must divide the following expression:

\frac {413} {129}

The expression can not be simplified. When dividing we have that its decimal form is given by:

3,201550

If we convert to a mixed number we have:

3 \frac {26} {129}

Verifying:

3 \frac {26} {129} = \frac {129 * 3 + 26} {129} = \frac {413} {129}

Answer:

3 \frac {26} {129}

Answer:

4 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of hours = x.

Jay reads 55 pages per hour, so in x hours, he reads 55x pages.

After reading for x hours, he has 278 - 55x pages left to read.

Odhran reads 45 pages per hour, so in x hours, he reads 45x pages.

After reading for x hours, he has 238 - 45x pages left to read.

Since we want to know when they have the same number of pages left, we set the expressions equal and solve for x.

278 - 55x = 238 - 45x

Add 45x to both sides.

278 - 10x = 238

Subtract 278 from both sides.

-10x = -40

Divide both sides by -10.

x = 4

Which shows the expressions in the order they would appear on a number line from least to greatest?
Illusion [34]
<span>c.)11 over 9, square root of 5, square root of 11, square root of 20, 2 to the power of 3

In order to compare, try to bring all of them into one similar form, like decimal.
Then, 11/9 = 1.22
Then, we can compare numbers under root, as 5 would be smaller than 11 which in turn is smaller than the 20, then 2^3 is 8, largest in series.

Hope this helps!</span>
